Crow is a reserved individual with a big heart for others. She is a scholar first before anything else, and firmly believes in furthering her studies of Eorzea's aetheric mysteries. Because of her young age, she has yet to travel further than the continent of Aldenard. Her obsession with her research and constant travels with her two retainers distances her from growing closer with people and her only living family member: her mother.

However, her relationship with her mother is already staggered and complicated. When Crow's mother was younger she was banished from her home for performing forbidden magic rituals with an unknown cult. Allured by their mysterious life style and seemingly unlimited power to draw from the void, she lived with the cult for many years. But when she found out she was pregnant, she could not resist her motherly urges and fled to Gridania to beg for sanctuary under the conjurer's guild. The exposure to darker magics led to Crow's development of an aether imbalance. She struggled to gather and release magic in a healthy way in her body, struggling to keep herself in tact with the Lifestream for many years. Her mother did not expect her to live.

As she got older, she decided to travel to Ul'dah to learn the art of black magic in order to be properly disciplined in balancing her aether. Her quick climbing in the guild and growing studies earner her attention from visitors of The Quicksand, thus beginning her career.

Unlucky Encounters As kind as she is to assisting other adventurers in need, her trust doesn't come as easily. Seeing others on the road may cause her to become alert and you may find yourself in an unwanted duel. She is not unreasonable though, you can either fight it out or talk it out.
